The End of an Era Begins: Uptown Night Market Returns July 10 for One of Its Final Four Celebrations

New York City, New York Jul 7, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - After five unforgettable years of culture, cuisine, and community, Uptown Night Market returns under the iconic arches of West Harlem on Thursday, July 10, marking the 4th to last ever edition of one of New York Citys most beloved public festivals.

Since its debut in 2021, the Uptown Night Market has become a cultural institution, drawing over 300,000 visitors, averaging 8,000 guests each month, and serving as a launchpad for dozens of POC-, immigrant-, and women-owned businesses. What began as a neighborhood night market quickly evolved into a movement, powered by local love and global flavor.

Now, with only four events remaining, the MASC Hospitality Group team invites all of NYC to be part of the send-off; a final season that promises to be as joyful, powerful, and delicious as the markets origin story.

This market was always more than food, its Harlem soul on full display, said Marco Shalma, founder and Executive Producer of MASC Hospitality Group. These last four events are our thank-you tour. But theyre also the prologue to something new.

MASC is currently developing a bigger, more permanent evolution of its iconic night markets. Including Bronx, Uptown, Brooklyn, Vegan, and Latin; with plans to launch later this year. The new project will carry forward the same mission of celebration, inclusion, and community empowerment that made these events a New York City phenomenon.
